2025 FARM FRESH ATLAS PROVIDES NORTHWOODS RESIDENTS WITH MORE LOCAL FOOD SOURCE OPTIONS

A regional resource known as the Farm Fresh Atlas is making it easier for Northwoods residents to find locally sourced foods. Now in its 2025 edition, the guide connects consumers with area farms, businesses, and farmers markets offering foods grown or raised close to home. It also includes seasonal produce guides and tips for supporting local agriculture. This year’s edition features Tomahawk’s own Tranquil Acres.

The Atlas was originally published in six regional versions across Wisconsin, but in recent years the editions have been combined into one statewide guide. It is produced by the non-profit REAP Food Group, which works to strengthen communities and economies through access to fresh, local food.

A digital version of the Atlas is available for free download. Hard copies can be obtained in information kiosks typically found in stores and visitor’s bureaus.
